Purim Gift Baskets

The joyous, festive holiday of Purim celebrates the salvation of the Jews from the wicked Haman, through the leadership of Queen Esther and her cousin Mordecai. Purim takes place on the 14th day of Adar, the 12th month of the Jewish calendar.

The carnival-like atmosphere of Purim, wearing of costumes, and bringing gifts of food door-to-door sometimes leads to it being referred to as the “Jewish Mardi Gras”. At Hazelton’s, we are pleased to help you celebrate with a variety of all-Kosher Purim Gift Baskets and treats!

All of our Purim Gift Baskets are wrapped in cellophane and a beautiful bow sets the basket off!  Happy Purim!

Purim, celebrated on the 14th of Adar, is the most fun-filled, action-packed day of the Jewish year. It commemorates our nation’s miraculous salvation more than two millennia ago. Purim begins Wednesday night, February 28 and continues through Thursday, March 1, 2018 (March 2 in Jerusalem). Though we dress up in holiday finery, Purim doesn’t feature holiday work restrictions.
